Už o pár dní (5. decembra) sa v nemeckom meste Bonn uskutoční dôležitá konferencia týkajúca sa bezpečnostnej situácie v Afganistane. Približne 90 delegácií s asi tisíckou participantov z celého sveta sa zíde, aby diskutovali o spoločnom koordinovanom postupe v Afganistane.

Delegates of Slovak Atlantic Commission, member of Atlantic Treaty Association, participated in 57th General Assembly of ATA, which was held in Tirana, Albania from 14th to 16th November. The whole event was a remarkable experience and our thanks belong to the organizers, particularly The Atlantic Council of Albania who hosted the whole significant public diplomacy event and proved real traditional hospitality and willingness of Albanians.

Valné zhromaždenie Asociácie atlantickej zmluvy (Atlantic Treaty Association – ATA) v Tirane potvrdilo kľúčovú úlohu Slovenskej atlantickej komisie (SAC) v prípravách na Summit NATO, ktorý sa uskutoční v máji 2012 v americkom Chicagu. Ako potvrdili viacerí predstavitelia ATA, budúcoročné bratislavské bezpečnostné fórum GLOBSEC sa stane dôležitou platformou, na ktorej budú prebiehať predsummitové diskusie európskych a amerických expertov a politikov.
